Obviously there's a massive update right off the bat, so I moved my ps4 to my router to plug it directly into an ethernet cable to download it faster and I put it into rest mode. When I checked on it two hours later, the update hadn't even started. I then waited to make sure it had started the update, and left the ps4 on and went into the other room. I went to go check on it again and my ps4 had gone into rest mode automatically and the update was at zero percent yet again.
I'm honestly just irritated at this, especially because the spyro that I was mainly wanting to play is the third one, which requires a download. I'm not even going to be able to play the damn game today because of this.
Despite having my settings set to download things while in rest mode, I went into my settings after it initially didn't download to make sure everything was still set properly, which it was. My download kept stopping because my internet connection was dropping for say 30 seconds, I kept having to resume the damn download. Also, if your downloading something and watching something on Twitch itwill increase the time needed from like 3 hours to 9 hours or more.

I'm using a homeplug for wired connection, and the damn air conditioning for some reason comes through the damn plugs so it can drop at times when the heat or cool air comes through, though it doesn't always happen.
