One I take every other day. One I take first thing in the morning, 30 minutes before eating. Others I took with lunch, or with dinner. Medisafe helped me get in the habit of taking my pills on the regular. And once it became a habit, I turned off the notifications and just use the app to check off when they were taken.

I have checked and rechecked my settings, there's nothing left that I can turn off but reminders still don't fire until I open the app myself. But yesterday, it started to remind me to take some of my meds an hour early - "time to take your med" - except that it's only right now. It also failed to getting me a reminder for one of my meds last night.
It's not consistent. If it keeps this up, it won't be useful anymore. Community It can sometimes be difficult to remember to take your medication every day as life often gets in the way. On this app you can set up frequent reminders that pop up whenever you need to take your medication making sure you never miss a dose. They're easily changed as well, so if you're going to be out at 8am when you'd usually take your medication, you can set the reminder that day for a different time.

What I discovered with this app ended up being so much more. Some require I take so many hours after taking another. Or not eating so much time before or after taking it. Or take with full glass of water, take with or without food.
It gets confusing. I was able to make my own schedule as well as put those notes in about each one. Pill cases are great but not everything falls under the am, afternoon and pm schedule.

Now, I know if I took each dose on-time or late or skipped a dose. That encourages me to adhere. When I just use my phone's built-in clock app, it doesn't record those things, and that does not encourage adherence.

My biggest complaint is that if you take several meds or supplements at the same time of day, this app forces you to say that you've taken each one separately, instead of all at once. It's nice they include pill shape icons, but there aren't enough shapes to choose from, and it would be better to include pill colors.
